Selecting a Laboratory Water Purification Instrument or Technology
Before selecting a laboratory water purification system, it is important to ascertain the feedwater quality, so that the most pretreatment may be recommended. Potable tap water conforming to WHO or EEC recommendations will be suitable for most equipment.
However, heavily contaminated feedwater (for example from a bore hole) may inhibit the successful operation of any laboratory water purification system, which in turn may increase the operating costs, unless the appropriate pretreatment is provided.
Considering the following questions will enable us to identify the most suitable TKA laboratory water purification instrument for your laboratory application:
Application – for what application is the purified water is to be used in?
Treated water purity – what is the acceptable standard of the final water output?
Flowrate – what is the maximum take-off rate (litres per hour) likely to be?
Required volume – what is estimated usage of purified water per hour / per day?
