Smart 2 Pure and Pacific 30 litre storage tank

TKA provide many solutions for the purification of water from simple demineralisation through to ultra pure water. Whatever your requirements TKA can provide a solution.

The TKA Smart2Pure water purification system has been designed to produce 10-15MΩcm (0.067 and 0.1µS/cm) water and with a press of a button ultra pure 18.2MΩcm (0.055µS/cm) water. These instruments contain a pre-treatment cartridge (consisting of a reverse osmosis membrane and an activated carbon filter) and an ion exchange cartridge. The cartridges can be selected to produce ultra-pure water at varying rates, 3 litre/hour, 6 litre/hour or 12 litre/hour.

Ultra pure 18.2MΩcm water can be drawn (on demand) from the point of dispense at the front of the instrument or 10-15MΩcm water can be taken from the integrated 6 litre water storage tank or with the 12litre/hour system from the 30 or 60 litre external tank.

To maintain the quality of the water produced by the Smart2Pure, a recirculation pump periodically pumps the purified water, so that it passes past the UV lamp, through the ion exchange cartridge and the ultra filtration module. This ensures the stored water is always at the optimal quality and ready to use immediately.

The TKA Smart2Pure systems have a small footprint 305mm x 400mm x 545mm (W x D x H), on the laboratory bench and can be easily wall mounted.

A digital display of conductivity or the resistivity can be displayed in either µS/cm or MΩ with or without the temperature.  The end user may set the limiting value of the water quality, to ensure that the quality of the purified water produced is suitable for the application. This feature also ensures that the ion exchange cartridge is not changed prematurely.

For the preparation of biologically sensitive media or substrates models with ultra filtration and ultra violet lamp can be supplied as a means of pre-sterilisation of the water produced.
