Spinning drop video tensiometer SVT20

The SVT 20N is specifically designed to measure extremely low interfacial tensions. Enclosed within a capillary spinning at up to 20,000 rpm drops are kept within the field of view by the inclination of the measurement cell and the control of camera position.

Surface and interfacial tensions are calculated based on drop contours under predefined speed increments and sinusoidal speed variations for relaxation measurements.
