Portable Optical Contact Angle PCA100r Robot Assisted
In conjunction with single or multi-axis robots, the PCA100 R provides for the determination of ‘wetting’ and other surface properties of particularly large surfaces on site during the production process. Supported by the same image analysis software as the entire range of laboratory based devices, enabling the determination of contact angle, surface free energy and consequent prediction of wet ability and work of adhesion.
With use in clean rooms identified as a major application area the PCA100 R has been designed according to the US FED standard 209E clean room standard class 10. Applications include: evaluation of the surface cleanliness of semi-conductor wafers and glass substrates for flat panel displays, examining the surface energies of pre-treated polymer films at interim stages of production and the surface finish of high performance composites and novel textiles.
