There are two FRITSCH ANALYSETTE 3 sieve shakers, the model PRO and the model SPARTAN. Both models are ideal instruments for determining the particle size distribution of a wide variety of materials using both wet and dry sieving. In addition, the ANALYSETTE 3 SPARTAN sieve shaker can be easily converted to be used as a vibratory micro mill for the milling and homogenisation of small amounts (0.1-10g) of material, down to a final fineness of <50µm.

The FRITSCH ANALYSETTE 3 sieve shakers operate with a magnetic drive in the base of the instrument, which vibrates the sieve stack vertically. The sample material is propelled upwards and as it returns to the mesh of the sieve, it is forced through the openings. The regulated vertical action of the sieve shaker produces optimum material sizes for sieving and ensures an even distribution over the sieve mesh.

FRITSCH offer two sieve shakers for 200mm and 100mm diameter sieves, the ANALYSETTE 3 SPARTAN, and ANALYSETTE 3 PRO. For larger sieves up to 450mm diameter see the FRITSCH ANALYSETTE 18 Heavy Duty Sieve Shaker.

All FRITSCH ANALYSETTE 3 sieve shakers are supplied without the clamping lid, test sieves and sieve pan, which must be ordered as accessories. An extensive list of sieves and sieve shaker accessories is available.

ANALYSETTE 3 SPARTAN

The ANALYSETTE 3 model SPARTAN features a precise digital timer and optical display of the amplitude, which can be adjusted manually. Sieves are held in position with a clamping mechanism. The ANALYSETTE 3 model SPARTAN is supplied with Autosieve for Windows™ software package for the analysis of particle size distribution.

ANALYSETTE 3 PRO

The ANALYSETTE 3 model PRO is our most popular sieve shaker, with automatic amplitude control and program selection. The ANALYSETTE 3 model PRO can be integrated into a testing instrument monitoring and control programme according to ISO 9001:2000, which can be used for the monitoring of company internal quality standards.

Additional features of the ANALYSETTE 3 model PRO include a programmable timer and the digital display of the amplitude, which can also be programmed. The ANALYSETTE 3 model PRO, uses a micro mode for the analysis of micro- sieves. Sieves are held in position with a clamping mechanism.

The ANALYSETTE 3 model PRO is supplied with free Autosieve for Windows™ software package for the analysis of particle size distribution, which can also be used to control and evaluate the sieve shaker parameters. A new accessory is now also available: the tensioning system TorqueMaster, which is used for the automatic and reproducible tensioning of the sieve stack on the sieve shaker.
