LABORETTE 27
LABORETTE 27 division of suspension
LABORETTE 27 and LABORETTE 24
The FRITSCH LABORETTE 27 rotary cone divider has been designed to replace traditional methods of sample dividing, such as coning and quartering. Accurate sample division is now achieved using a combination of three principles of division within a single unit:
Due to the rotation and the number of channels in the dividing head it is possible to reach upto 3,000 divisions per minute. This means that the feed into each collection vessel is made up of a large number of separate samples – a distinguishing mark of good sample division.
The base unit can be fitted with a variety of cones and division ratios and bottle sizes. Bottles from 15ml up to 500ml can be fitted depending on the ratio of division required. Options available are as shown in the table below:
Dividing heads are supplied in different material dependant upon the application. POM plastic is used for non-abrasive materials; Aluminium for abrasive materials and PTFE coated aluminium for chemically aggressive materials.
The LABORETTE 27 can also be used in combination with the LABORETTE 24 vibratory feeder for the automatic entry of larger samples.
